I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China. For you are offering us the best education.”

When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feel about your staying there?” “Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”

I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!

同学们，明天就是圣诞节了，圣诞节是个象征着美好的日子。12月25日为圣诞节，它是为了纪念救世主耶稣降生。由于圣经记载耶稣生于夜间，故传统称12月24日夜也就是今天晚上为“圣诞夜”或“平安夜”。

我们国家这些年从国外学来了很多节日，但没有感恩节。在美国，每年的11月第四个星期四是感恩节，那一天，无论天南地北的孩子都要赶回家；那一天，人们要感谢父母，老师，感谢社会，感谢生活；那一天，美国家庭要举行丰盛的感恩宴，不仅为自己，也为穷人，孤儿，流浪者们，让这些不幸的人们在感恩节里也得到一份人间的温暖。

其实对我们来说有没有感恩节并不重要，重要的是我们每个人是否有一颗感恩之心。有恩有爱，是人类生活中最灿烂，最绚丽的文明之花。滴水之恩，涌泉相报，是人类广为传诵的美德。感恩是人之常情，事之长理，懂得感恩也是做人的基本条件之一。不会感恩，从某种角度讲，就是对人类神圣感情的亵渎。

上海市的《中学生守则》中增加了“学会感恩”的条款，这意味着现在社会上包括我们的同学当中存在着较为严重的感恩缺失现象。的确，有些同学老觉得生活没意义，似乎找不到任何学习的动力。仔细想一下，是不是我们都在享受着无微不至的照顾，沐浴着问寒问暖的关怀，我们就是在这样的幸福中生活和长大的，所以感觉麻木了。所以对这种关心，帮助，照顾，我们似乎不知感动，不知报恩，如此心枯如井，对得到的一切觉得理所当然，激不起感激和爱的情感，生活自然不会有什么意义，人生也就没有什么动力。

感恩，不仅是为了表示感谢，更是一种内心的交流，在这样的交流中，我们会感到世界因这样的息息相通而变得格外美好。

对于“幸福是什么”的命题，一千个人也许有一千种回答。有位哲人说过：幸福就是感恩。是的，一个人不管他有什么样的不足，但只要他能怀有一颗感恩之心，就一定是一个不断进步的人，一个不断成功的人，一个拥有亲情友情的人，一个生活幸福快乐的人。

now i am a junior student, and i like studying, my not best in our class, but i still think i am a good student. my teacher think also!

can you imagine how difficult i will, when i meet a problem in english, and i am not perfect one in my class, i do not like english at the very beginning for i know nothing about english which is only task from school and my parents, i am not good boy at that time.

but, you know, i am really want learn something now, i want keep up with the so-called mainstream, i want to be a good student. can you imagine how difficult when i face the simple english, i just know nothing. however, in this most difficult and key moment , english teacher ms x come to me, she understand me i suppose, she pay much more time in this english poor level boy, i want to say thank you my teacher.

now i am not good yet in english, but i am keep going, believe me!
